What it is

From the cruise to your event.

Sink Your Worry™ began on Cleveland Floaters, Jim’s live sunset cruise on the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie. Now he brings it to corporate and association events as the finale of a funny, heartfelt keynote or interactive workshop.

Funny Cleveland stories. Personal setbacks. A few observations you might recognize a little too well. Jim talks about overthinking, what we can’t control, and remembering to enjoy life before everything is figured out.

The story

Why the Admiral floats.

A ridiculous uniform. A surprisingly serious mission. After cancer, heart problems, and a few years that would flatten anyone, one Lake Erie sunset changed how Jim Kukral thought about worry.

That sunset became a cruise, the cruise became a ceremony, and the ceremony became this keynote.

The Admiral’s kit

A cup for everyone. The water is on you.

Every keynote and workshop builds toward the Sink Your Worry™ ceremony. Admiral Jim brings a branded cup and dissolvable paper for every person in the crowd. Your event team only needs to provide water. The finale belongs to the whole room, not just the guy with the microphone.

  2. 02

    You bring the water

Your event team provides the water. Jim brings the rest.

  3. 03

    Everyone is invited

Join in, leave the paper blank, or just watch. Nothing personal has to be shared.

  4. 04

    One shared finale

The paper dissolves in water, together in the room. Jim saves the rest for your event.

No one has to read their worry aloud. Notes are never collected or shared. A symbolic moment of letting go, with a little questionable naval authority. The rest is best experienced in person.

The phone policy

A short break from your phone.

Jim invites everyone to put their phones away during the session.

That's an invitation, not a rule. People keep their phones, and nobody gets called out.

He does the same thing on the cruise.

About Admiral Jim

Admiral of Cleveland Floaters. Admiral of nothing else.

Jim runs Cleveland Floaters, the sunset cruise where Sink Your Worry™ started in 2026. The "Admiral" part is a character. He did not earn it. He gave it to himself, and nobody has stopped him.

An entrepreneur, author, and storyteller with 20+ years on stages. Business setbacks and surviving cancer helped shape his perspective. On stage, it’s real experience and dry Cleveland humor, not a lecture about positive thinking.

Certified Worry Removal Specialist*

*Certified by the Admiral's Office. Which is a joke. Not a clinical, psychological, or professional credential, and not a real military rank.

Is Admiral Jim a real admiral? Is the certification real?

No and no. The Admiral is a comedic character from Cleveland Floaters. 'Certified Worry Removal Specialist' is certified by the Admiral's Office, which is a joke. No military rank or professional credential is implied.
